Easter Sunday

Saturday night we dyed eggs with Grace,it was fun and she added lots of sparkles.  Before she went to bed I explained to her that the Easter Bunny would come and hide her eggs and leave her a surprise.  I didn’t think she would really catch on but I sure was wrong!! She woke up extra early asking about the bunny, so she found all her eggs and got a new dress, lips, bubbles, candy ect. Gracie and I then went to church which was a wonderful service, followed by a huge family lunch/ Easter egg hunt at my Grandma Smyer’s. We had a wonderful day!

Palm Sunday

I thought this was so cute, for Palm Sunday during the children’s message they had all the kids come in waving their Crosses that were made from palm leaves, and then during the message the Pastor taught them how to make them.

My Best Friend

It is pretty cute when you ask Gracie who her best friend is and her response is Winston followed by Sophie, Lyvi, Auntie, Mommy,Daddy and on and on.  It is so fun to watch these two play together, I am really glad she loves him because every time we have people over he annoys me SO MUCH that I want to give him away…. (not really but kind of!!)

Twins???

When ever my sister and I are together people will always ask if Sophie and Gracie are twins?? Yes they are only 3 months apart and similar in size… but look nothing alike! These two have a lot of the same clothes so we make it really easy to fool people!!

103!!

My great grandma turned 103 on April 14th!! My grandpa took cake to the old folks home for our family and all the people there.  I was able to snap another 5 generation photo!

Gracie was a little freaked out when we first got there, which I totally understand because they freak me out too!! I have had a fear of old folks homes since I was 3 and we would always have to dance at them…. and after I was finished it was always a challenge to find your parents without being grabbed by one of them!! One lady grabbed Gracie’s hand and asked if HE could come with her….. this lady can’t see or hear, but Grace was okay with letting her hold her hand!!
